		MARGARITA INGREDIENTS
		• 1½ oz - Tequila • ½ oz - Triple Sec • 1 oz - Lime Juice


		Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with lime juice, and dip in salt. Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into the glass, and serve.

		The origins of the Margarita have been changed, edited, and revised. The truth still remains unclear. But, the most common historical story comes from Acapulco, Mexico. Margarita Sames, who was a great hostess and Dallas socialite, hosted a Christmas party at her vacation home in Acapulco. As a dare, Margarita’s guests insisted that she concoct an original drink, from her very own bar. That evening she mixed Tequila with cointreau and lime juice. It was an instant success and the cocktail quickly traveled among the elite groups in Texas and soon to Hollywood, under the name of Margarita.
