In the late 1970’s Dave Corriveau ran
an establishment called “Slick Willy’s World of
Entertainment” and Buster Corley operated a restaurant
with an assortment of different cuisines, called “Buster’s”.
Both businesses were successful and both shared the same customers,
so, it wasn’t long until the two entrepreneurs became
good friends. This relationship developed into an extraordinary
idea. What if both establishments came together under one
roof? Dave and Buster put together a plan and gave birth to
one the greatest ideas in the restaurant industry. This publicly
held restaurant chain first opened its doors in December 1982,
in Dallas, Texas.
Many people think of Dave and Buster establishments
as the Chuck E. Cheese of the adult genre. When you combine
food, billiards, and interactive games, it’s almost
hard to say no to alcohol.
The two visionaries have concocted the perfect
floor plan to complement their perfect idea. Dave and Buster’s
consist of a Grand Dining room, which is home to over 12 million
visitors each year. A Million Dollar Midway area which houses
the latest interactive games and a 40 foot long bar. So, if
you decide to play and snack simultaneously, the Midway is
ideal for you. Don’t forget the Showroom, this room
can be transformed into a conference area for business presentations
or a private dining room for private parties. The Viewpoint
Bar is the best location is you’re seeking a drink with
a view. This bar overlooks all the action in Dave and Buster’s,
while displaying the latest sports action live on a 20-screen
video dome.
