GOLO Golf Dice Game
GOLO
has sold over 130 thousand units, and has become the best selling
golf dice game of all time. The game is played with nine color-coded
dice, representing holes with pars of three, four, and five. Each
die is 12-sided with a specific number sequence that determines
a player’s score on each hole. The winner shoots a low score,
just as he/she would in real golf. Hence, the object of the game
is to GO LOW!
GOLO has become a hit in clubhouses, pubs, and bars across America.
The game is played exactly like golf, and like a party, the more
the merrier! The popularity of the game is due to its fun, addicting
nature. Many GOLO fans are calling the game "Vegas Golf Craps",
because of the screaming, yelling, and general excitement that GOLO
generates. Like golf, the game lends itself to gambling as well
as a few pints of beer. Players have even made several drinking
games out of GOLO. For example, when a player is under par, they
can hand out drinks/shots, when a player is over par, they must
consume the drink/shot. GOLO has become the social game in many
local town taverns. Shawn Carroll, bartender of CB Hannegan's in
Los Gatos, California, says, "We have held many tournaments
in the bar and it has become the most popular past time of our patrons.
People really do go nuts!”
GOLO is available in pro-shops, sporting goods stores, game stores
and can be customized for tee prizes, promotions, fund raising,
and party favors. Suggested retail price is only $19.95. The game
can be purchased and also played on-line at www.iGOLO.com.
